I am right there along with 's daddy about these darn viruses. I am so frustrated right now and so sad for my little boy. As most of you know, had the flu LAST WEEK! That was a teeter totter of, "Oh, he's getting better, no, he's not, yet he is..." blah blah blah. Right when it would seem he was better, he'd throw up everywhere. Well, finally the throwing up and diarrhea has stopped. However, last night I was awaken by this awful cough, barking like, and his breathing sounded awful, almost like a wheeze. We immediately took him to the ER. He has croup. But the ER drs there and nurses were great and knew immediately what was wrong. They gave him a steroid medication to open his airway. We didn't get home till 3 in the morning, but he had a restful night after that. However I am up trying to get ready for work with a splitting headache. Here is the saddest part. 's b-day was the 17th. We had his party planned for the 19th but he was still sick and in the process had made a lot of people sick that were goin gto attend his party. We postponed it till this Saturday. I am hoping I don't have to cancel it again.

Anyway, just wanted to vent also about icky viruses who take birthday parties away from innocent little babies.

I was almost in the same boat- was coughing and sneezing and I thought we'd have to have his little party another time too! Luckily he got better but Daddy was seriously ill with vomiting and diarrhea! Hope that has a speedy recovery and will get to eat his cake soon!!
