Do they just make this "mistake" and hope that parents will just pay it without saying something?? Absolutely. This whole experience reminds me of the movie from a few years back called the Rainmaker, about a family who without the help from attorneys would never had mentioned a thing when their claim was denied. Watch the movie.....it is a great one (IMO) Jen
Guest guest
Debi, Hooray! Glad to hear that your claim will go back to be processed. My insurance companies denies my minor emergency clinic bills 100% of the time. I literally have to call every single time and explain how the claim is to be processed, then they send it back through and it is paid. How irritating is that?!?!?! If I didn't call I would just have to pay the darn thing. AAARRGGHH! I was the one that said insurance reform is needed in the US and boy I'll tell you - it needs to happen soon. Guest guest
Debi and I am so happy that you are seeing improvement already-that makes everything so worth while doesn't it? And when someone else notices it is just icing on the cake. I am glad you didn't have to fight with the insurance company about coverage-an honest mistake right hhmmm makes you wonder. Either way atleast they are paying and you were spared the fight. So Happy for all of you - here is to the rounder head:-) Beck
