Guest guest
OH laugh all you want-we found it pretty amusing ourselves. I am nervous about having my water break since the first time they broke it in the hospital for me-but this was quite the shocker on Sunday. bladder control has never been an issue even at the height of my last pregnancy so now I feel like my grandmother and should run out and buy some depends:-) Am I panicking- yes very much so. I am having those bizarre dreams that I forget one of the kids in the store or leave the house without one of them. I just don't know how I will manage a 15 month old and a new born-it is quite frightening. I imagine a lot of caffeine may be helpful:-) And I am checking into cloning myself- anyone ever see the move Multiplicity- talking about LMAO I already reflect the last clone " Pizza Steve " ................................. too funny. OK the one out of my belly is waking from his nap time to grocery shop! Have a good day! Beck
Guest guest
Hee, hee! That pickle story is funny! My water broke at work and it was kind of a slow flowing thing. It came in spurts. I didn't go into labor when it broke though so I had to be induced at the hospital - yuck!! Marci
Guest guest
Beck: My water broke at home. Thankfully I was feeling a bit funny and went to the bathroom. I just kept "going and going...........". My sister's broke in her bed!! Not a good scene! I got a water-proof pad for the bed after I heard that one! My Mom always suggests carrying a large jar of pickles where ever you go. That way you can drop the pickles if your water breaks! Of course she's just kidding, but it might work pretty good in the grocery store! ;o) Kendra Re: Re: due date OH laugh all you want-we found it pretty amusing ourselves. Maybe I will make sure he has a full Sippy cup attached to himat all times then I can open the lid and pretend it was him. I cant say I went as far as to think I had to go to the DR's it was more like 2 seconds of shear panic and then a realization that its not my water after all. Goodness that is a lot of pee if you take yourself to the ER. things that make you go hhhmmmmmmm. Beck

Guest guest
Beck, As a Labor and Delivery nurse i couldn't resist to comment on this one. Blush with pride! It happens to the best of us. Nearly half the patients that come in have had this same scenerio. When your water breaks it can be a nice big gush or a slow trickle. You did the right thing. ---Wishing you a safe and enjoyable labor and delivery ! Sara(Logan's mom) Oklahoma
