Hi

My son Boo 15mths has torticollis (leftsided) and left side plagio (due to womb compression) I find a good way to help the tort is placing two foam blocks either side of the head (especially when sitting in a chair or pushcahair) I used two blocks size 8" by 6"by 4" (deep) I made sure the foam was suitable for babies and I made little cotton cases to cover them. I also made an impression in them (moulded to fit snuggly on the side of the face. Boo's physio had some made for other tort babies. Another thing I made for the pushchair (not to be used in the cot or unsupervised) was a small butterfly type cushion which also helped

Good luck

Hopefully will post a response to your tort question. Unfortunately I

don't have much experience with tort since did not have it. I think

seeing a PT is your very best bet - that specialist will be able to tell you

for sure what to do. I would suggest in the meanwhile that you join

torticolliskids which is another group. That group is just like this one

only for parents of children with tort. They could answer any questions you

might have about the tort issues.

Good luck and let us know what the PT says.
