today was Makennas apt day, you'll never guess what happened

We get to ST Louis childrens hospital by 9:20, apt. is at 10:00. we

ask the information desk where the office is, go down there and it is

CLOSED!! We go back to the info desk, she calls neurosurgery clinic,

plastic surgery clinic, they are all closed. THen another lady that

works at the hospital walks over and says that all the clinics are

closed because of MLK day!!!GGGRRRR!!!!!!!! Back things up a bit,

about 2 month back...had apointment set for end of January, the

office calls and says that the doc cant see Makenna that day, so she

was given an apointment in FEBRUARY, by luck there was a cancellation

and i was given an Apt January 28 THEN a not quite 2 weeks ago we get

a call and there was a cancellation for January 21...today, MLK

day..so we have been screwed around for quite awhile. Then this just

takes the cake!! Im wondering if they basicly cancelled all the

apointments for today and on of the receptionists calls me because

she notices we are on the cancellation list and gave us the

apointment not thinking that the previous apointments were cancelled

because NO ONE WAS GOING TO BE IN THE OFFICE!!!!! I am so MAD.. or

maybe said todays date but really meant tomorrow, not thinking that

tomorrow was going to be the first work day of the week, not today,

if that makes sense. Im going to call tomorrow at 8 a.m. and see if

they screwed up and Makennas apointment was really the 22nd not 21

(and i know im not wrong on the dates, i wrote the apointment down

while i was on the phone with the lady, and we repeated it to each

other at the same time, and i found the 2 memos i wrote the date and

time on , and it was for today). I expect an apt for Makenna befor

the 28. They will not delay her 1st apt for 2 more months. I am even

thinking of going back over to st louis to speak to them in person

tomorrow morning. If they do try to give me a date that i am not

happy with i shall call every morning and afternoon and remind them

who i am, what they did and ask if there is a cancellation yet. But

it had better not end like that, because Makenna will get an apt

befor the 28. That is the only think i will accept. (i'm really a

nice person, but i am just so angry right now.) Thanks for reading

WOW, I would've been soooooooooooooooooo p.o'd. I can't believe

you've had such a hard time with TWO messed up appts.. They owe you

a free appt at the very least. It sounds like you will insist to be

seen ASAP, don't take no for an answer. Gosh, what a joke! So sorry.

I wouldn't wanna be the person on the other end of your phone line

tomorrow at that Drs office - Yikes!!!! Let us know what they say.

Sheesh , you cannot catch a break can you? I can't believe

that they gave you an appt. for when the office is closed! I would

be royaly ticked off. I am so glad that I won't be on the other end

of your phone call tomorrow! Let us know what they say.
