Is your son irritable along with him pulling his ears? My daughter

has had several ear infections & most of them have not been

accompanied by a high fever. It does sound like an ear infection to

me, esp. if he is cranky or not sleeping well. It could also be from

having a lot of ear wax that is making him uncomfortable & trying to

dig it out.

You should take his helmet off when he has a high temp..

One more thing I forgot to mention, is like asked, is his

helmet pushing into his ear at all? Abby's STARband did and she

would fidget with her ear a bit. We had it trimmed & the problem was

solved.
