Ummmm...... you're obviously not from around here. In Houston the nice

weather is ending and brutal endless summer is arriving! Thankfully we have

two neighborhood pools, a treadmill at home and an air conditioned gym so I

won't have excuses not to exercise when it is too hot or rainy outside.

Ok. My cold is a drag but it's time to get back to work. This afternoon

I'll take Vonn to the pool. I'll swim a few laps during break time every

hour to get the old body moving a bit. I'll get a little exercise just

playing with Vonn the rest of the time. Flinging a 6 year old in the air

should count as an upper body workout. Right? :)

Tomorrow my top priority is to finish sanding the & %^$* trim in the

breakfast room. I'll do that right when I get home from taking the kids to

school. It will be a relief to get that done. Hmmmm....... after that

I'll go to the gym for lower body machines. Not too much but at least to

get started on them. I'll warm up and cool down on the treadmill.

Good enough? :) Today swimming, tomorrow gym. To make this work it has to

be a life long commitment.

Ann
