Guest guest
Thanks Debbie - I'm going to make an appointment this week to get the ball rolling. We would rather be conservative and get the helmet or band. Even though the doctor and thereapist have said it will probably correct himself, we would rather pay the money to be sure. I appreciate the advice! > > Hello! I am also in the same type of predicament. My son,Dane,is 4 > > months old. Guest guest
I replied to Debbie and Lori earlier, but somehow nothing posted??? - sorry if this is a duplicate later on. I think we are going to go ahead and get a referral for a helmet. My cousin's son was just fitted Friday (I didn't know he had plagiocephaly). If I drive an hour south to where he was casted, it will only be about $700. Is it bad to go with an off brand. I am going to call around to pediatricians in that area tomorrow to check on their reputation. I know their reputation in orthotics is great. I like the idea of saving money, but don't want to be cheap. Can local helmets as effective (like buying a generic drug)? Thanks for the earlier responses! > > Hello!
