Guest guest
.... A COMPLIMENT! Some neighbors came over to pick figs from our tree (it's loaded we have bookoo to spare) and I was telling the man that the figs have 35 calories each so I have to watch how many I eat ( I freaking LOVE em right off the tree ) and said I was trying to lose weight, his wife spoke up quite ernestly exclaiming 'you HAVE lost weight!' I was stunned, I had no idea it shows. I've been on a plateau for a while now. I also got a note from () today so now I'm REALLY stoked to start up the exercises again! Squee!!!!! -Sapphy Who's really glad its showing this time -Sapphyre Feel Free to Visit: www.geocities.com/asmallersapphyre www.livejournal.com/users/changescomin www.geocities.com/mothernatureschyld Subscribe to my Group for Food Addiction Support! food_addicts_anon-subscribe Messenger with Voice. I also got a note from That's great! My sister was in town this weekend and we were at my parents' house. My sister was going on about how great I looked and how much thinner my face looks. My mom said " yes, her face was so bloated. " My sister said that's not really a good way to put it and my mom said " well, her face was so engorged. " Sheesh woman! Get a friggin clue. Fat people have feelings too. I don't want to be told I looked bloated and engorged like I'm either a water logged corpse or a blood filled tick. My mom isn't mean but sometimes she is clueless. I saw a woman today that I haven't seen in a couple of months. She said " you're getting skinnier. " I said thanks. She said " are you doing something? " I said yes and she said " it shows. " A bit embarrassing since she is a size 8 sexy mom and I'm a size 2X fat mom but nice that someone noticed I suppose. I'm fat but I'm back down to a more reasonable weight of 220. I feel chubby and I still have a long way to go but I no longer feel morbidly obese. It was like my body couldn't handle those last 50 pounds it was carrying. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I've been getting my daughter to take pics every month so I can have a photo journal of my weight loss. Ann

I just love my son, but it kills me when he looks at me and asks "when are you going back to Curves again?" And then I say "I went tonight, why?" and he goes "it isn't working"... now, I know he is trying to get my goat, but still! I saw a woman today that I haven't seen in a couple of months. I was talking with my b/f tonight and he takes pictures of me when we see each other and he said he can really tell the difference the past few trips since I have "gotten more serious" about losing weight. I asked him to email me some pix so I can post the progression.... will be nice to see on pix cuz I know I have lost 30 lbs, but I haven't "seen" it you know... At > 5'1 " every extra pound is like 5 I'm only 5'2 " . I know I'm still really fat but nothing like I was at 285. Or maybe I'm just deluding myself...... nah! I feel so much better and my face has definately changed for the better. Something has really stuck with me for a while. I was reading a book, I think by ,and he was describing a fat person and talked about her porcine eyes. Yep, that's nice. Call her eyes pig-like. Sheesh. We really are the last group that it's ok to insult in public. Ann
