Well, I dropped off hubby and voooooom out of the parking lot I got. I didn't buy the cookies. While I was there I picked up some fresh veggies for lunch today and tomorrow and a chef salad for dinner tonight. I was going to have left over pizza for lunch today, but I am going to give that to hubby for dinner tonight. I am proud of myself. Not only did I not get the cookies, but I chose some healthy foods for me to eat today and tomorrow.

Good for you ! I am glad you are feeling better and wanting to make good choices on top of it for your eating!!

I'm still not feeling well, but I have a good outlook. I think I will get better real soon.

Thank goodness, huh! I know you were probably starting to go stir crazy and wanting to get a moving!! Hang in there, things should start getting better now from the sounds of it.

Oh before I forget. While at Wal-Mart I picked up a notebook to write my journal, goals and other stuff like that in. I even picked up a tiny notebook to put in my purse so that when I ate something while out I could right it down too. I am going to try to start writing down everything I eat. I think that might help.

Sounds good. Maybe when you are journaling write what you are thinking/feeling/doing when you eat, so that when you look back over it you can look for patterns: stress, happy, sad, social situations, etc.

Hi there friends,

Okay on how I have been good today. Actually I am pretty proud of myself. So I haven't been feeling good right? Well, any way, when I'm not feeling good I don't usually care about watching what I eat. The last few days I have been craving Mc's new fresh baked cookies. Hubby got paid yesterday and so I thought when I took him to work today that I would sneak around to the drive thru after I dropped him off and get me some of those cookies. I wasn't going to tell him I was getting them, because I didn't want him to talk me out of it. When I got almost to Mcs I prayed that God would help me to not get those cookies. I would go back and forth. " Those cookies sure do sound good and would taste so good. " " Today is the first and I am wanting to reach my goal this month. "

Oh , That was so good! I know that took a lot of will power to do that! It sounds like you made a huge effort today. I hope your will power holds up for the rest of the coming week too.

Good, It seems a lot of people has been under the weather lately.

It will help a whole lot. When I was writting it all down it helped me greatly. But as with everything else thats a skill I have to learn to stick with. I'll do it religiously for awhile then just stop. I really need to try and get that into my daily routine the same as my exercise and water. Ahhh but baby steps. Maybe that will be the next thing I'll learn to do regularly.
