Guest guest
Hi ... Thanks for the encouragement... I think exercise is the missing link. Moving at 340 lbs is hardly an easy matter. > Drastic measure steps: > 1. stop > 2. breathe > 3. hug yourself and look in the mirror and say " I am ok - I am not bad for a weight gain this month " > 4. observe - have you been doing your water, portions in control following the hunger/fullness, etc? how much sodium, high calories have you consumed right before that weigh-in? > 5. if I remember correctly your water aerobics were cut down (?) so you are trying to figure out what to do the 3rd day for exercise - this may have made the difference (??) > > Hugs - > >
Guest guest
Hi and ... Thanks for your replies. I think it boils down to " just do it " as the Nike commercial says. I own tons of videos and think WATP might be best to start out with. Many moons ago I walked my dog daily but now that seems to vary with the weather. I've not tried the Sit and be fit but am familiar with chair aerobics as I do them with the seniors when visiting my Mom. So beginning today... committing to restart slowly and use the Flylady motto of being able to do anything for 15 minutes a day. Thanks for the encouragement. > > Hi ... > > Thanks for the encouragement... I think exercise is the missing > link. Guest guest
Well, , only made it through 10 minutes of Sansone's 1 mile of walking away the pounds. Tomorrow pm is water aerobics so off the hook til Tuesday. I have a nice variety of videos... May try Non Impact Aerobics (NIA)or back to LSWATP. Well off to small group. Perhaps I'll get there a bit early and walk outside for 5 min before joining the group. TW teaches that movement even in 5 min increments is a good thing. Thanks for your encouragement. > Excellent! And, it is FREEZING outside today, so a day that I do not even want to think of leaving my humble abode, so I will join you and do 15 minutes of my Debbie Siebers' DVD.... > > Ready....? > > Set....? > > Let's DO IT!! > > > Woooohoooo - Yay us!! Guest guest
Hi ... Our water aerobics is held at a university pool... very chilly but refreshing esp during the hazy, hot and humid days of summer. > > who wishes there was water aerobics around here - do you do that at the " Y " ?? >
