The following posts are available from suitable candidates for the state

management agency to support the west bengal sacs. the details are given below:

West Bengal State AIDS Prevention and Control Society (WBSAPCS) has entrusted

Dalal Mott Mac, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy organization in

India, to set up the State Management Agency (SMA) to facilitate the exercise of

designing, planning, implementation and monitoring sexual health interventions

in the state on behalf of WBSAPCS. The SMA will work among marginalized

high-risk population through CSOs for the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and

other STIs. Professionals are required for following positions in SMA.

Project Officers (2 in no.)– Will be responsible for identifying new partners,

supporting and facilitating project partners, promoting quality design and

implementation of TI projects in their specified regions. They will take lead in

their specified areas/regions of activities and contribute in achievement of SMA

performance as team members. Should have masters in Health management/social

science/management having 5-8 years of experience out of which at least three

years should be in facilitating external organizations and minimum three years

of experience in HIV/AIDS prevention/TI management. S/he should be computer

literate and fluent in English and Bengali.

Training Officer (1 in no.)– Training Officer will be responsible for effective

and timely training and capacity building of partner organizations, peer

educators and external stakeholders. Should have masters in training and

organizational development/human resource development. S/he should have 8-12

years of experience with at least five years of training at management level,

experience of training and development cycle for performance improvement and

organizational development tool. Also have three years experience in areas of

reproductive/ sexual health and HIV/AIDS prevention/TI management areas. S/he

should be computer literate and fluent in English and Bengali.

MIS Expert, who will be responsible for understanding the existing MIS, creating

and putting in place an effective MIS, maintaining and updating the MIS and

disseminating useful information to various stakeholders from time to time. The

incumbent should have a Masters in IT/information management, and minimum 5-7

years of experience in MIS designing / database management for development

projects / funded projects / public domain projects. Fluency in English and

Bengali would be desirable.

The positions are Kolkata based, except one position of Project Officer which is

at Siliguri, need extensive travelling and are contractual. Salary is negotiable
