Guest guest
I'd checked out " predatory mites " by googling. Decided I didn't want to chance bringing anything else into the mix on the possibility the new ones might prove compatible with the ones already here... Best wishes, Sue My dad says that there are some farmers that use predator mites to eradicate problem mites. May be a solution that we could use. Does anyone know anything about it? Guest guest
Are you sure they're not springtails? Mites don't jump. Springtails you can often see and they live in the soil and jump all over.AandrayaOn Sep 2, 2011, at 10:32 AM, wrote: I was wondering if there is a possibility of me already having picked up predator mites from the environment. They also got into my mattress in the beginning and I got bit on my chest and the bite looked like bird mites, so I assumed that was what it was. Can predator mites get into your mattress? Guest guest
I support what Krys said. It ia more likely that you have one mite on your lower body, and then another one dropping off the ceiling as they are quorum sensing. It is said that bird mites communicate via pheremones. The also infest mainly females. > > > > > > , > > > > > > > > > Those sound more like Collembola or Springtails to me. If something is > > hopping, it most likely is that. Guest guest
The bites I had gotten back in June on my chest were from the mites that had gotten in my mattress b/c I didn't have a mattress cover and I was not spraying anything then. They looked like mosquito bites but took a long time to heal. I also had some bites on my head, but I don't know if that was the headlice or the mites. I don't really have any bite marks now. I just feel them on my scalp or in my scalp or underneath it. Especially when I touch infected items, it seems to register with my scalp. When I eat some things I get the funny scalp feeling too. Or, when I drink water sometimes it is as if whatever is there is eating/drinking too. I know it sounds very strange. This week they got into the bottom of my foot from wearing flip flops I had just bought and also they got into my private area this morning from maybe some babywipes that got infected that were in my kitchen. I just feel a real infected-like feeling on some items. Has anyone felt that before?? Also, I been getting bites in the bathtub, but they are more like stings. It seems they are on the floor, but I can't seem them. Whatever I have seen is white though and certain parts of my floor feels like it " vibrates " -- like the bathroom tile and near the sink and computer. Thanks. Guest guest
, I am afraid to say, this sounds pretty much like bird mites. It all applies to me, they infested one side of my head only and that seems to 'communicate' with the outer world. I know it sounds weired, but that is exactly how it feels. The vibrating feeling I used to get in the beginning when going to bed, it felt like the whole mattress was alive. Also got bit there all night long, could not get a minute of rest, these things litereally chased me 24/7. It has been a 'mite-mare'. My bites also looked like mosquito bites, others like hard red papules, but I put the diversity down to different mite stages. If I remember well, there are 5 different development stages, and 3 of them can bite ! > > > > > > > > > > , > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Those sound more like Collembola or Springtails to me. Guest guest
Most springtails are microscopic, only some you can see, and just barely.AandrayaOn Sep 3, 2011, at 8:10 PM, wrote: I don't think they are springtails b/c I cannot see them. Guest guest
This isn't just an external condition, it's much deeper. When you address the chronic systemic infections the symptoms go away, though the treatment takes time. The bugs are attracted to you due to chronic infections. I'm two + years into this.AandrayaOn Sep 3, 2011, at 9:28 PM, wrote: I know that it is also outside on my porch and it gets into the cushion part where the door closes. I don't know if I'll ever know what this is, or how to get rid of it. It seems like after I eat nuts I feel the scalp tightness more (the parasite is eating too), so I need to stop eating nuts. It is so hard b/c I really like cashews. It is so hard to live with it. I've been using neem oil on my head and that seems to help some. I've been taking a little bit orally too -- about 1/4 tsp. Guest guest
Hi I know the feeling that the bug is around , when I do. I hit it with a weapon , there are many ways , one is suffacate it with soap & leave a residue all over that resists bugs with its alkalinity . Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent 1 cup poer gallon ( not liquid soap ,it is different says the manufacturer ). , if it dosent stop the bug , then epsom 1 cup per 3-4 cups of water in a garden sprayer ( Chapin is the best brand : sold at ace hardware , it says Chapin on the loqer part of the box in small letters . . ( epsom dries like a hard glaze on everything like a rock , bug gets stuck , till you rinse , I risnse with windex 1 cup per gallon , it is poison . All this soap rinses off with a scrub brush & a hose . To deter them for coming back blowing the dust all over the outside of the house works fantasic with a leave blower , I just put 5 cup on the ground 20 ft from the house , point leave blower & blast toward the house ( I hold my breath cause , breathing the dust of , Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent which contains sodium carbonate, causes delayed pulunary edema say the msds fact sheet required by lay on all cheliclas sold in the usa. . Its a bug , kill it, it will die , I pray your body heals itself if you have any infections , the body is good at that , & God is mighty .. & good !
