Guest guest
Laurie: There was just a post in here the other day from a mom who had a free consultation at a CT clinic, I think in Burbank. I'm not sure if each clinic does things differently. What clinic did you call? I've heard of the costs of the bands varying. That seems to be common for diff. bands varying in cost. Guest guest
Hi Laurie: Cranial Technologies fabricates all the DOC Bands. The DOC Bands are distributed through 2 different methods (CTI Centes and Licensed Centers) and I think this is what you ran into. Cranial Technologies owns 10 Centers (all named Cranial Technologies) and we have licensed 9 other facilities to provide the DOC Bands (Ozaukee Therapy Serices, Rehab Designs of America,Cranial Therapies, etc). These business are not owned by Cranial Technologies so you will find different business policies including price of the band etc. All treatment protocols are the same in all 19 Centers as every clinician has trained with us and passed written and practical exams as well as yearly quality audits. Consultations are free at Cranial Technologies and all policies at these 10 Centers are the same. I believe the consultations are also free at many of the licensed centers, but perhaps not at every one. Parents should make sure and ask up front. Sorry for the confusion. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions. Carol kson Cranial Technologies 866-362-2263 > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Laurie I use one of the " Licensed Centers " in the Los Angeles area. The consultation was about $100 also. However, that consultation fee was credited toward they fee for the service ($3750) if we chose CT as the provider. They offered a small discount for full payment up front. When I did web research, I also found the price of $3000. A relative used CT in Phoenix about a year ago. The price was $3000, but her network says the price is NOW $3500. - Mom of Noah (DOC Band 10/23/01 - now) > Hi everyone. Guest guest
I checked into the cost of DOCbands, licensed centers do charge differently than the regular centers, but the price of DOCbands at the Cranial Technology clinics is $3000.00. What the network told your friend about costing $3500.00 in Phoenix is incorrect per Cranial Tech.. Hope this helps Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > > Hi everyone.
