Guest guest
Hi all, I've been doing a little experiment. Since my hubby had purged all of those " lint balls " ... I wanted to compare the " Fiber Mites " (As KJ calls them! Great name BTW...) to everyday lint balls that we may possibly find around the house and compare them. Here is what I came up with... http://mitephotos.cfsites.org/index.php Everything shown has the same magnification which is 400X. Look at them when you have the time and let me know what you think... Hugs to all! Trly
Guest guest
trly - Try burning each one and see what the difference is. This is very important - anyone familiar with Dr. Wymore's research? Bessie > > Hi all, > > I've been doing a little experiment. > > Since my hubby had purged all of those " lint balls " ... Guest guest
Never heard of Dr. Wymore... I'll egoogle him... But how can I burn a mite without getting burned? They are sooooooooo Tiny!!! I did forget your earlier suggestion though on trying to dissolve their fibers with Orange Oil and what lse was it Bessie? I can't remember! Ohhh! Hydrogen Peroxide was it? I'll get right on it with the Orange Oil and wait to hear back from you about the other liquid that I was supposed to use. Thanks! Guest guest
Bessie, You were right. I applied the Orange Oil and it is disolving the cocoon. You can now see tiny little black specs inside... I'll get the pic uploaded in a minute... Thanks Bessie! Trly > > trly - > Try burning each one and see what the difference is. Guest guest
Yeah, hydrogen peroxide. Dr. Randy Wymore is from OK State Univ and has been researching these fibers/budles for about 4 years. He's been interviewed for lots of TV news, Nightline, Inside Edition. A lot of the news stories are on YouTube. Do read his research. Oh - just hold a match to the fiber bundle in an ashtray and see how it looks after a second or two. Do the same with the other fibers from the environment. Bessie > > > > trly - > > Try burning each one and see what the difference is. Guest guest
Trly - Oops - I guess I should have read through the posts before answering them. But I'm doint it again! Apply the orange oil to the " control " just to show the difference. I will explain in awhile why I suggested this. Bessie > > > > trly - > > Try burning each one and see what the difference is. Guest guest
ok, I am fascinated. I don't think I have anything I can start a fire with though! Stove is not working, no lighters, no matches, will get some manana. Very curious about this! I won't ask what happens, but I will tell you that I think the straws are made of the same thing as cartilage/chiten/sea shells as they do not dissolve when soaked in enzyme cleaner w peppermint, though the ECP eats away at the ectoskeleton of my critters. katiejill > > > > > > trly - > > > Try burning each one and see what the difference is. Guest guest
OK. I'll start with my own experience from a few months before the biting started. My a/c was not working real well. I had a handyman look inside at the coils (he was on the phone with an HVAC buddy who was telling him what to do). The coils were covered with whitish fluffy stuff, couldn't even SEE the coils. He was told to spray the coils with 50/50 orange oil and water. As soon as he did that, the stuff MELTED, and the coils appeared. Sprayed water on the coils to rinse them, and the water that came through the drainage tube was loaded with black specks. He said, WHAT are THOSE? Of course, I hadn't a clue. Fast forward. Many months later, after the biting started and after I started to get a grip on it, I began to get the black specks out of my skin. I then remembered the a/c. Then I remembered seeing, the first summer I was in this house, way too much dust around - or at least what I thought was dust. I thought maybe it was bird dander, that my birds were molting continuously in this new climate. Aha. The " dust " was the same thing that was on the coils. Within the dust on the coils were the black specks that came out of my body. This shit was in this house when I moved in three years ago this week. It took about a year and a half for it to get full blown in me. Mind you, the house was painted entirely inside, rug pulled up, and new vinyl flooring put down before I moved in. I've tried calling the previous owner several times, different times of the day, she never answers. Must have caller ID and knows what I am calling about. I am curious about the peroxide, because I used it extensively in my own recovery. I think it oxidizes these things. Guest guest
I forgot to mention the burning experiment. I won't tell you what to expect because I don't want to taint your perception of the results. But Trly, you have GREAT samples - the ones from your body then the regular textiles. Same color. They clearly look different though unmagnified they might look alike. The orange oil will not have the same effect on textiles, and the burn test will have different results as well. Good scientist, girl! Bessie > > > > > > > > > > trly - > > > > > Try burning each one and see what the difference is. Guest guest
WOW!!! What kind of camera??? Also, on the one where you say 'This is a Blackish Blue fiber found coming out of skin, magnified at 400X. See how " fluid " the fibers are? Also do you notice how " flat " and ribbon looking it is?' Have you ever seen what a nematode or fungus look like (they are critters too)? Just wondering. Love what the orange oil did to the fiber mite, and glad you like the name! katiejill > > From: trlyblest <trlyblest@...> > Subject: Mite Photos...Comparison to Fabric Fibers > bird mites > Date: Thursday, November 6, 2008, 7:30 PM > > > > > > > Hi all, > > I've been doing a little experiment. > > Since my hubby had purged all of those " lint balls " ... Guest guest
Hi !The camera that I have is just a Fuji digital. Very inexpensive in comparison to others. Our microscope is a used Accuscope that we bought at our local Scientific store. Both worth their weight in gold! Yeah... I've seen the "Fungus Ribbon"...Scary... And gross....Yeach!!! We're getting ready to step up the internal attack by adding cleanses to the Essiac Tea that we're drinking.I thought it was amazing what the Orange oil did to the "Fiber Mite". Did you notice all of those little tiny black specs inside the Fiber Ball? That shocked me!!! I wonder if that's what all of the black specs that everyone is purging are??? There are several other things that I want to experiment with too such as Clove Oil, Oregano Oil, Hydrogen Peroxide... Etc... If you have any ides on oils I could try, give me a shout! I'll post the pics on the website. Hope you have a great weekend !Hugs!TrlySent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: "livingwithcritters" <livingwithcritters@...>Date: Sat, 08 Nov 2008 04:10:40 -0000<bird mites >Subject: Re: Mite Photos...Comparison to Fabric Fibers WOW!!! Guest guest
Hi Trly Will you try coconut oil ? And then maybe cocont oil1 teaspn , & 1/8 teaspn sulfur & 6/8 teaspn 365 brand hand creme from Whole Foods Market? ($3.95 for 32 oz it is healthy : I over dosed on baby oil and cannot use it anymore, makes my heart hurt , if I don & #39;t use any baby oil I never have any pain, ever. I googled baby oil hazard & read pertoleum products caouse pulmonary & lung problems, I used babyoil head to toe for 3 months & in the bath to kill this bug. , it worked but ended up hurting me. Now I use cocnut oil & have no problem. Who would gues baby oil is a petroleum hazard ? ) That ( coconut oil , sulfur & handcreme ) , is the mix I make my 10 percent sulfur creme out of , it works well & stops itches instantly , & clears up bites & scars fast. I read & #39; & #39;buckhorn & #39; & #39; does also , I have to try that There are a lot of different oils in 365 brand hand creme. ...I wonder if the sulfur affects the bug though Thank you, Bill trlyblest@... wrote: > Hi ! Guest guest
I didn't know baby oil was bad for you! I've been using a mix of baby oil and tea tree oil. Guest guest
We gotta be REALLY careful about any petro-based products, for more than one reason. Obviously " Petroleum Jelly " - mineral oil, baby oil, etc. Carefully read the labels and google anything you don't understand before putting on your body or inhaling it. I hold a paper towel over my nose & mouth when pumping gas, and even hold the nozzle with a paper towel. Guest guest
I tried using J & J baby oil early on in my problem, and it irritated my skin so much I stopped using it. I didn't know it was bad for the skin, but it sure felt bad. myrtle > > I didn't know baby oil was bad for you! I've been using a mix of > baby oil and tea tree oil.
