Guest guest
We have an appointment on Monday to go for her fitting. I asked the receptionist if she had heard from the insurance co., she said they received the precertification #, and that there is a $200 deductable and then they will pay the rest!!! I just cant believe this! I didnt expect them to pay at all!! WOOHOO!! (cigna hmo). Now, its getting use to not seeing Makennas head, and being able to smooch it when ever i want to. I hope she as well as us get use to the helmet soon after she gets it..wish us luck, and i'll let you all know how it goes. Illinois
Guest guest
: That's great news about your insurance coming thru w/o any problems! I am sure Makenna will adjust just fine to her new helmet. You will too, remember it is normal for us adults to have a hard time seeing our baby in it - but you'll adjust every day . You're doing the right thing. Be sure you let us know how the fitting goes Monday! Debbie Abby's mom MI > We have an appointment on Monday to go for her fitting. Guest guest
, Hi! We also have Cigna and have just started the process of getting a helmet for our son. Did you have to provide documentation (photos, letter from physician) or any other special items to get it approved? Any help would be very much appreciated because, like most people, a $3,000 helmet as well as continual physical therapy (my son has torticollis also) would stretch our budget to the breaking point!! Congratulations on your success. I don’t look forward to the day when little ’s head is covered either, though I know it’s for the best! Thanks for any help! You will get used to the helmet in no time and so will she. Just snuggle that head during bath time and pretty soon you will be snuggling it all the time-time will fly by I promise! Good luck and post when you get home Monday! Beck
