Wearing STARBand - So Far So Good

Hi,

got her NicBand (Starband) on Friday evening. It went

smoothly. I was very happy to get things started. But,

unfortunately, my husband has a harder time with it then I do. But,

after a fairly hassle-free first couple of days - all 3 of us are

settling in.

I have to say - does not band the band at all. She couldn't

care less. It truly doesn't faze her. I read all the other posts

that said the same thing but it was hard to believe. What a relief.

She wore it for a few hours at a time Sat. and Sun. Yesterday, we

went back to the orthotist and he made a few minor adjustments ( he

said it wasn't tight enough). Now, it seems good. Only a few red

marks when we take it off and they fade quickly. I went with her to

daycare yesterday and stayed. I wanted to make sure that all her

teachers were comfortable with her. They never had a kid with a

helmet/band in class. All was fine.

Now, I just hope things continue to roll along smoothly. I'm almost

waiting for a bump in the road.
