Guest guest
I think it's easier in the long run for Trisha's sake if she does not join. The moment someone (even one) person has a problem with her or her products, it can become a quite uncomfortable place. I've seen this with car forums where an auto parts seller was also a member. When a few ppl started having problems with billing or shipping while most of the others were happy customers, fights broke out. Just my thoughts... -k > > > Tried unsuccessfully to convince Trisha to join our group. Guest guest
Sue,Thank you for sharing this with us. I felt like I was going to cry reading this. She is a true blue when it comes to her values. Each of us who goes into the helping profession attests to do others "no harm". I have found in my own field, just as she has that despite the codes of ethics, very few actually listen to what the people using services want/need. It is a bloody shame that this happens but, an honor to know that their are still a few people who live/work/breath a code that states humanity and dignity for all. In fact, it is amazing that the people on this forum breed this too. Everyone on here offering to help one another in a time of need. Trish is right, this forum is different. It is different because we have something other forums don't have. Its a scenes of community. We all realize that society is not going to take care of our needs so we have band together from near and far to find solutions to this shared atrocity. With each others help and through commonality of a cause, we shine brighter in the face of adversity. Much love to all and to Trish who has sent us such beautiful sentiments and hope.J.From: Sue <sue@...>Subject: From Trisha Springstead of ESP Botanicalsbird mites Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 5:36 PM Tried unsuccessfully to convince Trisha to join our group. First talked with her only a couple weeks ago but already she feels like an old friend. She asked me to share this with you: Please tell everyone...for 3 years I have researched this independently, I have never had a group that has been so kind to me. I got used to being called "snake oil salesman", so many times that I just shut up and worked very quietly with those that asked for my help. I was thrown off so many groups I quit joining so I just make it a habit to stay off the chat groups. I have learned to stay out of the politics of this and listen to the facts. I do have some Big guns in my pocket that I have been saving for when the time comes that I will need them. I am honored to have their trust and have met so many kind people from this group through emails and on the phone. There is not a group like them, there is not the infighting and backstabbing that I have seen on other groups. These parasitic syndrome is pandemic, I get emails from mothers with little children with this and I keep a list of everyones first name. Every morning I start my day with Prayers for healing and every day I recieve kind emails from people who I do not even know. It is because of this group that I will continue to research and work to make sure that this gets the attention it deserves by the medical community. I will also always work toward diminishing the stigma and ignorance that you all have recieved from others. I am doing a lot of writing and research and have a plan that will come to fruition hopefully in the next year in order to shove this in the faces of the very people who took an oath to "First Do No Harm." By ignoring what sufferers endure on a daily basis, many "Medical Professionals" have done terrible harm and for that I am so sorry. Thank you all for sharing your information with me, when you share with me, I also learn so much from you. I have listened to the stories of many and there is a common thread that unites all of us in this battle. Don't ever give up and keep working with each other. I will keep working for you.
