Guest guest
Thanks Trly. I haven't even unpacked my grandmothers quilts since I moved here in May. I love them and miss having them on the beds..or even having a bed...lol. Where do you get ziplock bags that big? I never have really looked for them. I did manage to get to my brothers for a while, in amidst a burst of throw out motivation, whole truckful with more to go. I actaully feel better just letting it all go. Hope you and everyone had a great holiday too. b > > > > Trly....I'm in the same shape with my mothers quilts she made me. > They are beautiful. One she embroidered ever inch of the quilt. Guest guest
I got my bags at either K-mart or Wal-Mart. I cant remember what dept. they were in. They're not with the zip loc baggies in the Grocery isles though... Maybe try housewares?? Glad you are ok with throwing your stuff out. It was a very difficult phase of the process for us... One I hope not to relive again. Sort of like going through a house fire I think... But we must perservere! All my best! Trly > > Thanks Trly. Guest guest
the easiest ones are the ones with the little zips on top...It's a pain to have to press together the seals on these big bags...walmart has the ones made by space bag and they are by the coat hangers and stuff. I prefer the ziploc ones I got from winn dixie on the aisle with the rest of the zip locks and all on sale for 2.99 a pack! They are at least 6 dollars a pack at walmart. > >> > Thanks Trly.
