Guest guest
I like bottles but refill from my fridge. Point is to be able to cap it. I have noticed a seriously painful issue since dehumidifying began. I take an anticonvulsant (Requip) for my RLS but like most drugs under some circumstances it backfires. When I am severely dehydrated, I get crippling, and I mean can't walk, charlie horses in my entire foot to knee area, working up to my hip. I'm talking extremely painful to move or to touch CAN'T MOVE. So I keep a LOT of water handy and when I feel my toes start, I pray it happens when I am awake enough to be aware, I toss down 16 oz of water ASAP or I will be in the floor crying. I got lucky the first time I didn't know what was going on, it was in my chest and I thought it was my heart. I drank some water and it WENT AWAY. Don't recommend this in case if it happened to you it was actually a heart attack. (Read about Alpha Lipoic acid and aspirins, though. the former does something re tissue damage prevention and aspirin is a blood thinner). Gotta act fast though. Dehumidification may have other ramifications besides this one. If you experience something unusual, HYDRATE and take other precautions as well. katiejill > > I'm wondering, if my house as dry as it is, and me being a big kid > still and needing a glass of water beside my bed (especially cause I > feel like a big dried up tea tree prune), that I'm really taking a big > slug of mite water. Guest guest
know what you mean...lol...funny prune image in my head...i keep one of the big taco bell plastic cups with lid and straw...fill it from fridge(the ice and water dispenser, i dump and clean alot...dont know how they get in there but they do) i put saran wrap around the lid with the straw poking through then I put my whole cup in a gallon size ziploc(not sure if its that brand)..the one with the zipper on top, hot pink box. That keeps them out of my drink and they cant get the condensation off the cup...die, bastards, die oh yeah, i wash my cup, lid and straw daily with some bleach>> I'm wondering, if my house as dry as it is, and me being a big kid > still and needing a glass of water beside my bed (especially cause I > feel like a big dried up tea tree prune), that I'm really taking a big > slug of mite water. Guest guest
jill - I used to have a lot of problems with cramps and twitching, and water does help me, too. What has helped me even more is Gilhams " Natural Calm " . It is a rapid magnesium infusion, and seems to help with strength, too. I recently switched to the formula that contains calcium along with the magnesium. It is more helpful if I drink it at night before bed. Guest guest
Bessie, although my bone density formula is preventing those crippling pains, I like the " rapid ... infusion " aspect of the product you mention below for the times when I forget to take the bone formula when I take my Requip (for which I halved my dosage, too, and it still works for the restless legs), but am confused by all the types and prices. What do you get exactly and where do you get it if online? Thanks, > > > > > > I'm wondering, if my house as dry as it is, and me being a big > kid > > > still and needing a glass of water beside my bed (especially > cause I > > > feel like a big dried up tea tree prune), that I'm really taking > a > > big > > > slug of mite water.
