Sue,

That was a great link and thank you! I also like to be told stories..... .<lol>

I actually had another purpose to posting the link though. I have tested positive for flagella in the past and have been watching my skin closely. Due to some of its behaviour, I went through a high dose treatment of Artemisia absinthium (Absinthe Wormwood) following Babesia protocol. I have done the first part and have been done with it for a couple of days. During this high dose period, I went through three nights of high fever, chills, plantar faciaitis, nausea, and headache. In which indicated to me that I was herxing due to it working and have been detoxing pretty heavily since. I know there are others here in which may suspect Babesia and the Babesia protocols are based off of the malarial protocols.

Forgive me, but I am not sure I remember correctly, but I thought quinine was showing resistence or perhaps it may have had a lower effective rate than what they were finding with the use of Wormwood? (High doses shouldn't be used in children folks)

There has been some things nagging me lately. I used to live in N. Carolina and it seems to me it was around these years that marked a change in my health and the way I felt. There is no doubt I had a birdmite infestation, but I suffered a full blown cytokine reaction after the infestation. Obviously my immune system shut down, but here, I observe others are not. Only a few. Now, recently I have tested positive for flagella which can really be found in quite a number of things which is why I chose wormwood and definately had a reaction/die off of something. I am really quite surprised that my bones or joints don't ache for as feverish and the chills I went through. With the oil combos I have been using for the last month and now finally the addition of New Hope recently, I have also gone through massive skin changes, even my hypopigmented scars.

Your knowledge exceeds mine. I am interested in essential oils in which will target protozoa and gram negative bartonella. I know Eucalyptus Globulus is both anti-malarial and anti-bartonella. I also know that Bay laurel and thyme are also anti-bartonella. Have any other ideas? Do you know anything about the Rhizol essential oils, Germany?

To better health...... .Frito

Had forgotten about quinine, Frito - thanks for the link & jogging my memory! A family friend in my early years always drank quinine water. I was fascinated by the smell & he'd always give me the first sip. May have been the beginning of liking the herbal taste...His name was Don Quigley & he was Australian. Wonder if that's a common drink there? He's the only one I've ever known who drank it, besides myself when I grew up. Haven't had any for a few years & want to track some down. Wonder if it would help??Don also told me the story of quinine's discovery as an anti-malarial, though his version involved an ailing priest who was led to the cure. So Don may have also begun my life long interest in healing plants in nature. Been a gardener since I was 4...Here's one of several versions of quinine's first use:http://www.pbs. org/wgbh/ nova/cancer/ discoveries. htmlThanks so much for the memories! Best wishes, Suehttp://www.dhmh. state.md. us/labs/pdf/ critlink/ jul06critlink. pdf
