Dry home and treating wood w/ oil

The dehumidifier and heater has dried out my place so much that the

veneer sides of my cabinets are starting to peel b/c of shrinkage. I

rubbed them down w/ Pledge orange oil cleaner today... we'll see if

that helps. Anyone else having the same problem?

Also, my hardwood floors have shrunk slightly so there's slight

spacing between the planks. I've been told that hardwood floors

shrink/expand throughout the year due to changing humidity but I'm

hoping that once this is all over, the planks would expand back to

normal size.
