Guest guest
Debi, Oh no you were one of the lucky ones to go without electricity for 5 days?!!!! You were on my mind all this week.. how is your house? Not too much damage I hope. A friend of mine is still without power because the Light company refuses to fix hers(her box pulled off the side of her house and she was told only an private electician can get her fixed up...that's going to dent her pocket book about $900!!! Where did you wait the whole thing out? Did you're pipes freeze with no heat in the house???? Glad you are now wired back into the 21st centuary!!! I can't wait to develop my film this weekend and post the ice storm of ours to the group. Now there is more snow this weekend????!!!!! ARRGGHHHHH!!!! YEA!!!!! The insurance company may have told you that they screwed up but I bet the truth be told you're persistance scared them away. Usually if you push hard enough they will pay. They are spoiled by the people that will most of the time give in and say... " Okay guess I have to pay. " Head growth is not my area but maybe the reason he isn't showing growth is because he is filling out in the flat area and flattening out in the bulged areas of his head and the band is working perfectly. ;O) I don't know sounds like good logic. Keep in touch Debi, we're probably only a stone throw away from one another...lol )! - Leigha's mommy...SHE IS THE FRONT PAGE STAR! > Hi all, > Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. (First the ice storm stuff, OT, I know...) I was one of the lucky ones to go without power for ONLY 5 days. There are still thousands of people in the KC area who have no power and it's been 10 days. I don't know how they are doing it. We stayed in the house one night, but Mikey was so cold (his tummy was cold to the touch) so we hid out in KCK with a friend. Our pipes didn't freeze, since we have an electric water pump and had no water in the pipes. I have ice storm pictures as well. The only damage we had was when the pole holding our tv antenna froze and broke in half, sending the whole antenna crashing to the deck. We still don't have tv. YEA!!!!! The insurance company may have told you that they screwed up but I bet the truth be told you're persistance scared them away. Usually if you push hard enough they will pay. I'm also quite excited to report that the orthotics company told me that they were paid. That's even better than having the insurance company say it. That's one less thing I have to worry about. :-) Keep in touch Debi, we're probably only a stone throw away from one another...lol )! I'm sure we're not that far apart. We'll have to get together sometime and let the kids play. Congrats on Leigha being the front page star. :-) Debi and (STARBand 11/29/01- HE TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS LAST NIGHT!!!)
