The thinking is that even if the buggers die, the eggs may be able to last indefinately, and be able to sense when a warm blooded animal is near and hatch. Kuhns author of an ebook about skin parasites, says that he was reinfected from clothing that had been in storage for 10 years. Rita says that several people she knew put their things in storage, and when they went back after a year the " things " were still in/on their stuff. Dont know if we all suffer from the same things, but i am treating my belongings along with myself.
