Guest guest
Kathy, Sounds like great news!! That is terrific that Jillian does not show signs of facial asymmetry, that was a big deciding factor for us to band. Good luck with repositioning and keep us posted! Guest guest
Just wanted to share. We took Jillian to Crainial Tech yesterday for the free consultation. First let me say I was so pleased with the orthotist, Charlotte. She was very knowledgable and so nice. The great news is that she feels that treatment with the band wouldnt be necessary in Jillians case. She said that if she was showing assymetry, then it may be something to consider. We were told to keep up with keeping her off the back of her head as much as possible. She took measurements and compared them with the "norm" chart which is dated 1970. She was a 3+ off the norm, but Charlotte reminded me that those "norm" measurements were outdated... they were before the back to sleep campaign. I will probobly take her back in about a month or so and get her head measured again to check on the progress. I want to thank you all again for all the information and advice you have given/shared on this group. I wish you all the luck with repositioning or band treatment.
