Guest guest
Hi kihun, I use grapefruit seed extract sometimes, but I'm not consistent about it. Here's a recipe I use for a " cleansing drink " . ¼ to ½ cup of lemon or lime juice, bottle dosage of grapefruit seed extract, ¼ to ½ teaspoon of cayenne powder. Place all in quart bottle, add water and maple syrup to taste. If desired, add liquid hydro-sol or colloidal silver (supports immune and kills bacteria). Drink freely throughout the day. Please note that the bottle dosage of grapefruit seed extract is vague - 5-15 drops in a glass of water, so when I make a quart of the cleansing drink, I put about 36 drops in it. myrtle > > Just reading about these on scabies and morgs sites. > I've not really read them here. > Anyone have experiences with them? > > kihun >
Guest guest
Hi Myrtle, When you say " cleansing drink " what does this do? Do you get purging effects or does it change your body ph/odor that the bugs stay off? I was more picturing usage in a spray form. > > > > Just reading about these on scabies and morgs sites. > > I've not really read them here. > > Anyone have experiences with them? > > > > kihun > > >
Guest guest
I cannot explain the cleansing aspect of the drink very well. I got the recipe when I took a 3 week " cleanse and rejuvenate " course at the community college in Sept 2007. We were trying to generally cleanse and detox our bodies because there is a theory amongst your health/organically oriented people that the human body accumulates toxins from the denatured food that we eat, drugs, and from environmental pollution. Our poor livers, kidneys, and skin cannot detox our bodies as fast as we take in toxins. Those of us in the class went on a 3+ week program of clean eating, daily exercise, and taking a ton of herbs and supplements to cleanse and rejuvenate are tired bodies. The program did wonders for my energy level and feeling of well-being. By coincidence, my bird mite problem had started two months before I took the course. By the end of the course, I thought my bird mite problem was gone because I wasn't feeling much crawling or anything. I resumed my old ways after the course, and within a few weeks, I had a full-blown horrendous problem again. I have my notes from the class in a word document, if you or anyone else would like a copy of those notes, send me a private email so I can reply and attach my notes. Sorry about the long winded non-answer to your question. The drink is refreshing. I haven't heard of using grapefruit seed extract externally. It is reputed to be a natural version of a broad-spectrum antibiotic http://www.diagnose-me.com/treat/T223917.html. Others, however, think it is useless http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grapefruit_seed_extract myrtle > > > > > > Just reading about these on scabies and morgs sites. > > > I've not really read them here. > > > Anyone have experiences with them? > > > > > > kihun > > > > > >
