Re: Epsom was good for our skin

The Epsom is very hard to go to sleep with....by morning it has mostly rubbed off while I was sleeping. My husband and I thought our skin would dry up and fall off with this much salt but it seems that the Epsom salt is very good for the skin no matter how much you use. It has a drawing effect and our skin got really bad for about 2 1/2 weeks. The flaking was awful. Then that wonderful smooth skin started showing up. Very smooth, supple skin. What we have discovered since is that right after we poured the high salt water solution over the skin then immediately follow that with an oil....neem oil works great and then blow dry our bodies until as dry as possible this oil on top of the salt sped up the killing of the things down in the skin. Also the Epsom is good for the skin. It made our sore hurting skin feel better. It burned if the things had made openings in the skin especially on the first two nights of first using it but after that it didn't burn at all and made the skin feel very good. It's really medicine for the skin and it helps to kill. If we are going out we just used baby oil or olive oil.....the neem oil smells so bad that we could only wear it on the skin if we were staying home. Hope this helps explain the salt. One person who used this method also washed her skin using the Clorox first and then the salt and then the oil. She only uses the Clorox now on her skin, the bugs are gone but she said her skin looks so good and everyone wants to know what she is using on her skin because it looks so good. She said her shower is never without a little Clorox.....works like an exfoliator I guess. Rita

In my limited experience, I've found spraying epsom salt solution on

me stops the crawlies and biting but not the same with borax. To

me, it seems epsom is the more potent solution. I did sleep with it

on one time and when I woke up, there were flakes everywhere and my

lungs hurt b/c I had breathed so much in during sleep.

I wonder why we don't talk more about epsom here. It's discussed

always as part of the bath protocol but not for treating the skin.

Seems like you and Doe have really had good success with it.

I wish I could spray it everywhere I go, esp at work... but the mess!

BTW, what's your epsom salt to water concentration? Do you just add

until it won't melt anymore?
