Guest guest
Gentle olive oil may soak right in, and as it is a mono-unsaturated fat, it also will not break out the skin. It is the only edible oil I know of that is like that. I think that may be why it has been used in Oil of Olay for generations and is the gentle basis of castile shampoos. When I have movement in my ears, I prefer the heavier (with beeswax, lanolin, and linalool) Pink Oil and have no further problem. It has gotten rid of ear aches too, though I wouldn't say it is an antibiotic. I just think it smothered or ran out whatever was till then living in my ear canal. My dogs love it when I use a cotton ball and swab their ears with Pink Oil. Their eyes half close in ecstacy, and I don't think it is just that I'm playing with their ears. I think it gives them (as it does me) serious relief from anything in my/their ears. katiejill
