Guest guest
Hi all- Yippee! FOX did their story tonight about how " a local parent is stymied by her insurance company in getting coverage for her baby " They had me and Owen on there and included the part where I explained verbatim why CIGNA denied us. Then they ( the news) refuted the claim of no functional impairment by having a pediatrician explaining about the health problems is plagio is left untreated. Best of all... They put www.plagiocephaly.com on the news so other parents can get informed! CIGNA released a written statement about how they have an appeals process that I should go through and how they base all decisions on the person's health plan. Maybe this will be the needle in their butt that makes them wake up and change their policy. It was a wonderful story and I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to do it. Keep your fingers crossed about our denial. and Owen
