I suppose we could use inflatable couch/sofa for comfort while this is going on :)http://www.amazon. com/Bubble- Furniture- RCBFSCS-Clear-Inflatable/dp/ B0011XBK8G/ ref=pd_bbs_ 5/183-8334658- 9201704?ie=UTF8 & s=home- garden & qid= 1228544103 & sr=8-5I'm so sick of sitting on an uncomfortable hard plastic outdoor chair. I haven't spread out in a sofa for 3 months :(

That looks good to me...except my cats would puncture it.

Ki,

It would work fine as long as you don't have any pets such as kitty

cats or doggies! lol!

Looks kind of comfy as well.

Getting rid of any upholstered furniture that you can is a very wise

move. The inflatable furniture will be so much easier to clean!

We are STILL using my wooden outdoor patio furniture. It's positively

the most uncomfortable furniure to sit on. Like you stated... you

can't stretch out and just simply relax. It's as though the body is

in a constant state of " tense " ... Not very healthy I would think.

But we all do what we can to get through this and survive...

Hoping you have more " comfy " days ahead!

Anybody ever tried seat cushions, that have been soaked in borax and

water overnight? So the borax can saturate all of the foam in the

cushions? I have never tried this....but I have been thinking about

it.

If it were me, I wouldn't do it... I'm an upholsterer (or used to be

with 32 years exp. and quit due to age.) and the only thing that you

will end up with is a mess that you'll have to throw out.

Foam is porous yes.. but very dense at the same time. If you get them

wet it will take a very long time to dry thus causing the breakdown

of particulates in which make up the foam as a whole.... There could

also be caustic effects by soaking the foam with household cleaners

and the such.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear! But there it is... ;)

Hugs to you and yours,

Try

That is EXACTLY what happen to my PB red leather chair, the chair itself was high quality tigthly crafted, no folds, etc....it was the last mite free piece of mine, unitl I messed with it, did exactly what SAVE suggested and now Ms upholstery expert, truly confirmed.....

so to the curb it goes.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the cushions you use for a wooden

chair, not the cushions for your couch. Maybe just sit on inflatable

doughnut like they use when you get crack your tailbone. lol.

I grieve for your loss!!!

Might want to slash the leather in a number of places once it gets to

the curb - just so no one is tempted to take it home! Best wishes, Sue
