Guest guest
When using anything that is at all toxic on your body, apply it as cold as you can unless you WANT it to absorb to the max. Reason: heat speeds the action of molecules and opens pores, more of anything on the surface would be absorbed. That may have been your purpose. Like many other things we use, this too is a calculated risk, based on what we are willing to chance in order to get better. Sooo, that said, you may have used heat intentionally, since you mentioned it specifically? I found another article on boric acid that says: " It is poisonous if taken internally or inhaled, although it is generally not considered to be much more toxic than table salt (based on its mammal LD50 rating of 2660mg/kg body mass). " It is often used as a relatively nontoxic insecticide, for killing cockroaches, termites, fire ants, fleas, and many other insects. It can be used directly in powdered form for fleas and cockroaches, or mixed with sugar or grape jelly for ants. " Affectionately, > > > > > > Has anyone had any bad reactions to the Roach Prufe? Guest guest
Thanks i am a little nervous about using it. I want to proceed slowly. I used hot water to dissolve it. I will use cold next time. > > > > > > > > Has anyone had any bad reactions to the Roach Prufe? Guest guest
Use hot water to dissolve it then let it get to room temp, or at least slightly cooler than body temp. If you are in a hurry, make it strong, heat it up, and add ice to cool to desired. That should be enough to reduce the transmission into your bloodstream. katie > >
