Re: how we used Roach prufe

I think with this powder you have hope. I have greased, oiled, burned, and froze my skin. Only my love for my children and grandchildren has kept me going day after day. We used the Roach Prufe pretty heavy in each room. We used the little bellow hand dusters to put it out and we used about 20 tablespoons per room. We put 2 tablespoons into a pint of water, shake it up to dissolve the powder and pour that over us after our shower. Seems too easy to be true but it worked for us. Even through the powder has a blue color in the can it can't be seen on the skin. We had to order the powder online because we couldn't find it locally. It took a week to receive it. We don't have an Ace Hardware or a True Value store close by. We kept the power puffed every where we had hair. What ever was eating on us liked to stay where we had hair. So since we don't know the life cycle of these things we just kept the powder applied everywhere we have hair on our body. We let our cloths dry in the drier after washing them and then before we take them out of the drier we puff the powder on top of the cloths and let the drier rotate for about a minute more so that our cloths and sheets have some of this powder worked in to the fabrics. We turn our blue jeans and shirts inside out so that the powder really get close to the skin when we wear the cloths. Our house looks like box after box of baby powder has exploded in our rooms but after living with the little demons eating on us for over 2 years, living with the powder every where is easy to adapt to. We have filled our closets and our car with this. We are all experimenting with this and any better ways of using the powder will be greatly appreciated. If you have the same thing that we had you will know in 5 days or sooner if this powder is going to work for you. I knew we were on the right track on the second day. I wish you all the luck in the world and I pray the powder works for you also. Good luck......keeping trying ....Rita

I read on one website that you can use a paint roller or brush

and " paint " it wet on your walls and ceilings. Did you apply it to

the walls and ceilings?

We walked around our walls and puffed it on. We intentionally caused it to get air borne so it went every where. The paint roller is a great Idea.......Rita

Thank you Rita, and everybody else for responding to my post! I can't

find Roach Prufe in these parts, so I going to go with generic boric

acid. Rita- thanks for the post-shower rinse idea. I may try that

tonight. Also, heading to Lowes shortly, for one of those bellows

dusters you mentioned. I'm still sorting through the responses to my

post.... I'm just really busy fighting my war. Thanks all !

Joe, if you have an Ace Hardware in your area, most of them carry Roach Prufe, also Home Depot.

I know i'm coming in a little late on this discussion, but as someone

asked previously, couldn't you just use boric acid since this is the

main ingredient in this? Just wondering.
