Guest guest
Hi Josh, you will be very lucky to find an exterminator who knows anything about mites. As far as seeing them they are as small as the period at the end of this sentence. The only way I have been able to catch one was with a lint roller on crawling spot and on the bed sheets right after you get out of bed. Use scotch tape to lift them. Don't let any exterminator spray permethrins which is what most of them will do. It will not work. I am not in SF area but there are some on here who are. There are lots of methods on this site to control them but everyone is different and what works for some might not work for you. Anyway, we are here to help and are in the same boat you are in. Good luck. Joan SF Bay Area exterminator? Hello,My name is Josh and I'm a new member of this Group.I was wondering if any of you are in the San Francisco Bay Area and have a reliable exterminator that is knowledgeable in mites? We've had two different ones come over and they did such meaningless inspections. Granted, I don't even know what to look for, but I'm sick of wasting money. Thanks,Josh
Guest guest
Hi Josh This is a site that is written by a lady, that extreminated them herself. I myself have not sprayed poisons. I coat the house in Dawn soap 1 cup per 5 cups of water , & wet vac it up a few days later & then coat it in epsom salts 1 cup per qt. it works , they come back I believe from my crawl space and also get carried in on my pants from parks, docks , fields , the grass etc. So I am never to interested in poisoning the place I live. I would like to try her plan , if you do would you let me know if it works . Basically she uses a few punches rather then just one DE Permiterin dust Nylar growth regulator Extreme clean She has all the links and she had this bug bad . here is the link www.shanspirations .org /?p= 112 ( I had to add spaces in order to sneak it in due to no linking rule here at ) God bless you, Bill Pfeffer wrote: > Hello, My name is Josh and I'm a new member of this Group.
