topical ivermectin for worms in back

Hi Bill -- I like your " hot box " idea too. I may try that for my

shoes. My skin is pretty much clear of the bugs, but most of my shoes

still seem to have some bug eggs in them, and I can't afford to buy a

bunch of new shoes right now. Might try the hairdryer in a box.

I'm glad to hear that you have the bugs in your skin under control for

the most part.

For the worms in your back, you might try topical ivermectin. Use the

horse paste, dilute it with a little water, and put it on the wormy

spots on your back. If the wormy sensation returns, apply it again.

That's how I got rid of the ones in my nostrils and ear canals, and a

wormy spot on the arch of one of my feet. It only took 2-3

applications for my nose and ears, and about 6 applications for my

foot. I did the applications a few days apart, because that's how

long it took for the worms to come back. I did it months ago, and the

worms have not returned.

For my shoes, I take out the insoles, moisten them a little and microwave them for about 30 sec. I then moisten my shoes by spraying alot of windex or orange cleaner on the fabric portions, and microwave them for 45 seconds.

To prevent reinestation, I put pure menthol crystals under the insoles. Cinamon powder helps too.

Thanks for the tips -- I don't have a microwave. I could bake my

shoes in the oven, but it's just too gross for me. I cook a lot, and

I don't want shoe smells in the oven. I suppose I could buy a used

microwave and just use it for shoes, no food.
