I was wondering how you all think you might have gotten this? I thinkI got this from someone I used to work with.

Same here. We were feeding about a thousand birds a day. No more bird feeders at our home! Joan

I think I got it from moving a dead baby bird. I didn't touch it, I

used a shovel, but I was doing landscaping in the area where it was

laying. I was really itchy that day, but didn't think much of it. It

had fallen out of a bird house attached to our deck. No more bird

houses near the house. I can't bring myself to get rid of the

feeders. Watching the birds during the winter was the only thing

that kept my sanity. The feeders will be placed any from the house

come spring. This coming spring I plan to spread Neem oil all over

the area where the dead bird was found.

Hi ,

I know got mine from helping a friend clean his barn and hanging out on

a couch in there. I could feel something all over me on the way home

that night. Wish I knew then what I know now..probably could have

nipped it off fast.

I tossed all four of my feeders last week Laurel. I'm not risking

touching a bird feeder ever again. I will miss seeing Mr Cardinal in

the white snow. He's so pretty and all my poor bird friends will be

hungrier. Maybe throwing seed on the ground for the groundfeeders at

least...

I got them from my cat who got them from hanging out with my mother's

chickens (he loves birds of any kind).
