Guest guest
, I got goosebumps reading your email. Confident and assertive! Sometimes we just need someone else who UNDERSTANDS to give us the encouragement to do what we know is right. You can trust your judgement. You are obviously a great mom and will do whatever it takes to help Ian be successful. He is lucky to have you. Over the past few months, over and over (and as recently as yesterday), we have had professionals tell us that we are great parents and our daughter is lucky to have us. That is because there are many children suffering out there without parents who understand. I am so proud of you! Keep up the good work and keep sharing. We all gain strength from hearing about and sharing in one another's victories. Hooray! Gwen in Oregon > Dear Gwen, Kathy, and Jackie: > Thanks so much for your input and advice on Ian's conference! I went to it confident and assertive (and armed with your printed responses, just in case)!
Guest guest
HI : Good for you and good for Ian. There are some very compassionate teachers out there and good for Ian he has one of them when he needs one! Hope that Ian's school year continues smoothly. take care, aloha, kathy (H) kathyh@... I went to it confident and assertive (and armed with your printed responses, just in case)! As is turned out, Ian's teacher was more than willing to give me the accommendations I requested (as much time as needed) and even offered to help Ian do the 3 written parts of the project in class. All we have left to do at home is the fun part (making a Native American pueblo model with a family). She also gave me advance notice of the next big project and agreed to let Ian use some of the visual aids he constructed last year as part of his independent study project for his G & T class. Now all he'll have to do is write a report from his earlier research for an oral presentation. Thank God I saved everything! There are benefits to being a hoarder! LOL Ian and I are both very relieved to have the pressure of a deadline removed. I am so thankful for the teacher's attitude that the knowledge is the important thing, not the deadline. Isn't is great when a teacher " gets it " ? Thanks again,
Guest guest
Great News . I'm always happy to hear of teachers who are flexible and concerned primarily with the well-being of the child. Being in education as long as I have been, I have seen more than enough teachers who seem concerned more with their status and class control than with the individual kids. Thank goodness for those teachers who are there because they truly love the kids! Jackie

Guest guest
Dear , I know you have to shovel or do things at times that your body will not like, but if you remember baby steps with a yellow light of caution because your well-being can change often especially in the earlier years. For your knee you may want to ask your doctor if he/she would prescribe moderate heat or ice. Hope this suggestion helps, Melt > Thanks to everyone who replied and made me feel welcome to the group. Guest guest
Thank you Doe & hello. I agree, that solution is very good as is the site. It was 1 of the first sites i found & it worked for 6 wks or so, then the pups became more ill. I used it also but the vet thinks that because the peroxide opens their pores it made them more susceptable/vulnerable to whatever pest happened along so i stopped the treatment. I still use it for myself sometimes & I find it works beautifully to bring the mites out of your skin & /or scabs. A touch of frostbite to fingers & toes makes them vacate the quickest I discovered during our last snowstorm though...LOL Your lucky to have found an exterminator that knew anything about bird mites. I havent been so lucky. I bought some of those lil boards but he said it was just lint, hair & dirt. I even stuck a couple of bugs to the boards that i caught biting me. I dont know if i messed up or if the " jewellers loop " (whatever that is) they use to look with is not strong enough. Either way Im at a loss until i find someone that knows what they're doing & so far I seem to know more about these demons. With luck maybe this last batch Im taking in will b ok & intact. Although, im in Canada I think ill phone your man & c what he says. Thank You very much.:.) God Bless Tee
Guest guest
Hi White dove Regarding the open pore & suseptiibilty factor encouraged by the peroxide: Frito said to use plent of olive oil to restre and keep up the acid mantle on your skin. Maybe thet is what will help for the suseptiibilty factor . also I read the if you take a cucumber and skin it & wipe the juice on all the cracks in the kitchen no roaches will come in . I am going to try this on my skin. I remember cucumbers being used for black eyes also. . I will reprt back . Meanwhile the environment has to sterile as a hostipal. And treated for bugs . This lady beat them , she lists her cure at this site www.shanspirations .org/?=112 (I added extra spaces to the link to sneak it in thru the no post rule. ) Thanks you for your response Bill ps: , I am 9 days into the brax peroxide & water mix, I sense my skin is naked, I will olive oil up . I wonder if the mix is as effective eon the environment as it is on the skin . I will try it. God is bigger than this bug 110:1 (A Psalm of Dovid.) The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
