Guest guest
So glad to hear this showed a marked effect on these "things".....all we can do is keep trying. Dry and die......way to go. Rita Dry and Die Last night I used Borax on one side of my face. I wanted to see if it dehydrated the skin and pores. Within minutes I could see my face (which is usually flushed)become pale. I was purging thing out of my skin (white hard) that were mixed with Demodex mites in the cheek area(natural)(cheeks are highest consentration of Demodex mites). The results would have been the same if I had used Boric acid as both are triggered by moisture. After 10 minutes I cleaned my face and applied my usual DSP cream. I think if the critters are not hard shelled they will be a goners if they get into this stuff (thanks Rita). If you have Nano Particles (silicone)as some people believe then boric acid will turn them into Silly Putty.LOL....WTG
Guest guest
Oh yes this borax ends this bugs attack. The peroxide & borax even stopped the burner bug that makes your skin feel like a huge uncontrolable sunburn . It stopped them in 2 seconds , I have never been able to stop that burner bug. not for days & days I was filing old papers I haven & #39;t gassed in the car with a rented 20 gallon C02 tank for 5 months. I happened to be opening the file of a worker who worked on a job where the burner bug has the basement infested , said the lady that lives there , and my worker when he too became infested from working there , and his file of invoices is still infested , of possible it didn & #39;t get gassed. I think it did get gassed but the eggs hatched. .I add to the files constantly but try to pre gas in a 2 gallon ziplock all paper before filing. I might of missed a few papers. Time to re gas all those files in the car with the heat set on recirculate and the car off and heater off.. I only had to gas those papers 2-3 times to make them clean . this is the first tme I have been biten filing papers in 5 months .... thet is a miricle, tax time used to be a nitemare on bug street . Paper is easy to gas clean & so are cellphones (dry ice also works & canned air keybaord cleaner with C02 from radio shack. , Laptops are a beehive that take constant gassing. Maybe the bugs are silicone lovers , and they eat silicone like the red ants eat stop light & AC electronics in Florida . Google red ants stop light AC electronics in Florida There is tens of millions of dollars of damage they claim from red ants, which are unstopable by insecticide they claim , but die in 1 to 2 days with a packet of nutra-sweet (with aspertame) dumped on top of an ant hill & misted with water to make eatable (aspertame is ant poison ) . God Bless all of you , you have saved my life. , ..No more wigglers deep in my back..... Borax & peroxide & water stopped them ..Yea !! Guest guest
Hi Bill, I find your critter fighting practices quite interesting, sometimes I am amused and smile and also take notice. Your most recent reply to my particluar situation of actually 'seeing' these things was much appreciated as most to not pay much attention to my particular plight. Please, tell me about your neighbors or people you knew that ALSO were able to see their pest, they hover, quite airborne, not flies, I know of flies during dog owning days, these after careful researching are a mix of louse and or springtail, in daylight they at first appear as a seeming fuzzy spider outline, appears to also have a long tube ever so whisp like attached to their 'body, they whole size about a half a centimeter in diameter or so minus the attachment, otherwise they behave just as described by most of the group in regards to environmental, internal infestation and attacks and hiding. Sometimes they are more aggressive, sometimes they are merely in a holding pattern. They are EVERYWHERE, I mean EVERYHWHERE and wish for the invisible plague sometimes, as this constant visible presence is unnerving to say the least. a constant validation of failure or success hoped for. I have started the roach prufe powder, the hair and scalp got better, they seem to simmer down overall, I 've cautiously applied a mixture to my body last night before sleep, for some reason my whole face got swollen so did my eyes. I would like to hear more about the practice of environmental use of the powder, when applying, how long should I keep it 'put'. I want to continue my daily routine of swiftering, but feel silly of removing my powder layer, also feel the need for the bellow duster seems more appropriate in my case, as I must have this powder as airborne as possible with my up in the air for most of the time critters. I also consider going for a serious knock down approach once more, thinking malathion or the out door bifethrin 30% solution as a fogger, will take the proper precautions, will add mylar to the mix, as soon as I find it, I can never find most of the things the group suggest in my stores, tired of online ordering, unless there is a one stop site one knows of for : opaline, menthol crystal and serious high percentage sulfur soap etc... I may go back to the borax, peroxide mixture, applied thick after the bath or shower, right? the peroxide baths seem to help, the 16 oz bottles are best for full effect. Please write back in regards to your take on my visible torment for a near year now. Thank you M > Last night I used Borax on one side of my face. Guest guest
Hi Margaurite How are you , I haven & #39;t seen you in a while. The roach prufe could be too much for the body , I think the inert ingrdnts. need identifiing , I am having it tested.for arsenic, 7day wait Now did you say flying critters. I have never seen any of this bug. I only feel it & see the bumps & scratches & odd patches . But for you I would fog their brains out with dawn dish soap 1 cup & 5 cups water in a $12 Chapin brand garden sprayer . I spray the mist ( I ordered the mosquito tip for 2.00 from www.chapin .com .. 800- # they shipped it while I was talking to them in a plain brown envelope. ) So with the good sprayer I mist the room while pointing the leave blower at the mist near the tip of the sprayer , Hello stuck bug .. all of them dead in 4 minutes .. Dawn dissolves bugs after 2 days Remember soaking in it ? .. ouch ! .that is the alkaline burning and dissolving and tearing the bug apart... . Outside , same thing.. I can get 16 ft of range easily. Now they are dead , time to borax everything. I would spread it dry like a snow storm with a mask and leave it for 5 days , then vac it up and do it again in another 5 days.this is the only way to kill fleas says the vet. Bombs do not last . . I use a $22.00 weedeater brand leave blower (the best) from wal-mart, I also blast deep in the heat vents ok this is for today Now for tomorrow , the cadilac version . A hurrican fooger (google it, its $200 for fogger + $140 for the endless supply attachment to refill with & #39;float valve & #39; from a 5 gallon bucket ) Now that you have the fogger , ok I will buy you one for Christmas. if you want . Now set the fogger up, point it at a window box fan pointed up, set on a 5 gallon bucket this will send the wet fog of epsom all over, all bugs will succomb to the wieght of the added water & epsom and fall to the floor & be dried into the epsom crust. ( ps I used a window fan on me at all times while sleeping in florida to scatter the no -seeums & mosquitos ) Bill Marguerite wrote: > Hi Bill, > > I find your critter fighting practices quite interesting, sometimes I am amused and smile and also take notice. > > Your most recent reply to my particluar situation of actually 'seeing' these things was much appreciated as most to not pay much attention to my particular plight. Guest guest
wait, wait, can't keep up with you, "spraying the mist, while pointing the leave blower at the mist".....that needs rehearsal of sorts, LOL > Last night I used Borax on one side of my face. Guest guest
Thanks, Bill do you remember telling me about the people you knew about SEEING their invasion ? I am so distraught about my particular situation, my vision has gotten poor which makes this even more puzzling and even more mis-understood by others, even attempting of uttering the words: ' see there is another one, right there above your head etc..' gets me even closer to the looney bin as OTHERS can NOT see them, at least for the brief moments they spent with me. In any event, I have some days off next week and like to compile a shopping list, no time for online delivery, so please help me: A refill of Dawn soap from Costco in bulk,,,,,( will get another huge bottle of EVOO w/garlic as well) Epsom salt by the tons, borax , chapin sprayer, leaf blower, hope to use my cedar fogger for something of those items,,,,any suggestions... maybe a turbo heater, I get confused with all the suggestion at times, yet so grateful. I want to get serious, I had it with these flying maggots... Thank You and anyone with any suggestions Also, even getting the environment under control, I got to tear up the hidden stuff, file papers, the few books left, misc. clothing and shoe items in the storage closets,,,I may have to invest once more into a 20 lb CO2 tank, the car is in serious need of attention, now in a better situation, since having more privacy in this small well vented city garage. Oh God please help me to live normal again even in the modest settings but without these monsters and demons, yes demons. M > Last night I used Borax on one side of my face. Guest guest
Hi Margarite As for the blasting: with the shoulder strap on the sprayer over my shoulder I point the sprayer out in front of me abdd spray , then I point the leave blower at the mist and it blasts it all over . I do the ceiling and the mist falls down & traps every living bug and glues it to the floor. I leave it for 2 hours to 2 days, the bug disolves. Dawn at kroger 54 oz size 4.99 Chapin 1 or 2 gallon sprayer , I LIKE THE 2 GAL. at ace hardware $12 Epsom at cvs 1 cup per qt of water if possible in the fooger , the Chapin sprayer will spray it easily it comes with a tip , just not as fine as I like to avoid dribbles, But the one in the sprayer box works fine CVS brand ant traps 2.99 for 4 it is plenty they work wonders. Som and old poster said so too. Reduced my bugs in the environment to almost Zero in 2 days Borax 2.99 per box. Dust masks 5.00 for 5 good ones or a respirator 19.00. Guest guest
Hi Margarite I do remember telling you about my cousin seeing the bugs all over the white tarp of the boat he was selling to customers they all got bit by them , and the bites bleed. at every bite. Mine crawl. If I sleep on a bleached & rinsed air mattress , with the mattress on a puddle of borax water 1 cup per gallon of hot hot water I never get 1 bite all nite long. ever. I shower every nite & sleep in clean clothes. I treat nitely with something , sulfur creme 1 teaspoon & 1 tespn coconut oil & 8 tespn 365 hand creme from Whole foods or any healthy creme , Or I use the borax water & proxide ( very effective but makes me feel a , or ill ) , or the msm pill 5 capsules or tablets & 3-4 oz of water ( no side effects ever). Or epsom 1 cup to 3 to cups of water poured all over me. and left to dry. ( itchey at first but works well ) I sleep with no blanket or pillow ever. somtimes an extra Shirt to hold as a pillow as a treat . I turn my heat up or my oven on or run a space heater to keep plenty warm .....98° usually It is cheaper to use the heat then it is to wash blankets & pillows, I sleep in total peace every nite. Guest guest
Howdy M My vision changes from day to day too. Not so haapy about that. For your Costco list: The two pack of very large bottles of H202 for your bath, I buy two at at a time, (4 bottles) The large windex refill with a spray bottle attached to it.. it's a great knockdown and I always spray my shoes with it. If you like pomegranites, anti-parasitic, they have had a really great quality tray in MA 10 for $12.99 hohoho bob > Last night I used Borax on one side of my face. Guest guest
Has anybody had a problem with floaters? I had an explosion of them the year before the biting and wonder if they are related. Bessie > Last night I used Borax on one > side of my face. Guest guest
Hi Bill; thanks for writing and caring. the noseeumms (sp?) are outdoor critters no,?.... My bet is on collembola, it has been said that most people first thought they had fleas, I can see their attachment , as described by the skinmites.com, they one with the arrbonne products, steam baths, etc... I also discovered something with a huge nudge from someone here in the group writing me privately, it has something to do with vinegar, vinegar anything, including the most valued ACV. I remember now, I have used that night ACV by Braggs, finally found it in the new Vitamin store I have started to frequent, I poured the whole bottle into my other mix and I included my face. My swollen eyes with three days worth of blistering DID NOT come from the Roach prufe solution very sparingly dabbed to my cheeks and chin and meant as an all over body treatment. No it is the vinegar, each time in the past I used vinegar on my body and come to think of it eating it with my salads I got into trouble. this person writing to me, suggested that there are critters that ARE attracted to vinegar. I believe now, my monsters are one of those, knowing this helps me, as I can target my battle in more effective ways as well as for ID. Anyone please chime in. My car looks like a blue blizzard ( of the Roach Prufe kind )went through and THEY just hop and float ever so happily around, conclusion: so none of that stuff along with vinegar for my guys. I cleaned my apartment of all the residue of the RP and resumed my usual swifter dawn, espom salt and borax routine, max spraying PRN with Windex and felt better with the results. I am going to finish my work stretch right now then reformulate a plan. Thanks to KJ for her structured presentation, ( i have done or doing some of those things already, just too lazy or busy to talk about it all the time) You guys are the best, I swear otherwise I 'd gone kucckuuu already. Thanks Bill Marguerite > Has anybody had a problem with floaters? Guest guest
Hi Roach prufe in the car ..woa.... How long did you leave it down ? How about mentol crystals did you try them , I read 50 times the they help. If only we could bait the bug to eat some food & spike the food with borax. I was thinking of using 1 cup light karo syurp & 1/7 of a cup borax , mixed and spread at all cracks .If the bug eats sugar he will eat light karo . it would also kill all the ants for sure & poison them , & anything that eats the poison filled ants would be poisoned. Does the bug have a food.that we know of? so far its us. . If we had an emtpomologist , (sp?) He could possibly learn of their habits, What a brave man that would be. Think Margarite , they eat somthing .. chicken for sure brings them out.when you cook it , right? what about borax soaked chicken pieces . I have a friend Don ,that hates bugs, he had a business partner in SC that had the bug , Don watched him go thru it daily. Don is uneffected by the bug. He has extminator skills . He once told me he created a war between black ants & red ants , I said WHAT ? how I asked , He siad & #39;he messed with them. , like how I said. he said he kept taking eggs from the one group & putting them in the others ant hill , he would also take some ants on another day and drop them in the others ant hill, he said it took a month to accomplish. but one day the 2 ants had a war , he watched as both ants destroyed each other. God says the wicked shall slay the wicked And The predator shall be destroyed Maybe there is a bug that would be our allie. Bugs are used as allies all the time in farming. Possibly we could find one to beat this one. This bug is running rampant in the trees here in Michigan. My worker got swarmed while tree trimming. He was bit up all over. I get bit when I go under trees, especially oak. They say the oak gall mite is here in MI , and folks are at a loss of how to get them out of their home they once they get in. The grubs are bad here, one spot where they ate the whole lawn is where I used to visit daily. Guest guest
Actually, we had a red ant problem in our yard growing up. My brother had read in his fifth grade science book that black ants, though smaller, are far more fierce and highly territorial, and if brought into a community of red ants, will fight to the death to get rid of the red ants, and will often defeat and replace them.
