Guest guest
The fact that these have been sold for this purpose at a bed bug site would suggest that it could very well be effective. Can you get your hands on a paint peeler, one of those things that looks like a hair dryer but has a metal tip and melts the paint off the wall? I think your idea is peachy. Either should work fine. Guest guest
I'm not aware of any sold on a bed bug website. I would be interested in finding out more about this if you want to contact me privately or post it on here if that is OK. Also, I am not sure about the other contraption you are talking about as it would definately damage cages (i.e. chip the paint off and/or melt the plexiglass frames that are on some of my cages). I guess the dry steam is dispursed in such a way that it does not damage the surface and you can also use a rag or such over the top of the nozzle to concentrate the heat onto it. I guess anything is worth a try at this point. I had just been wondering if anyone had any positive results with this method. Thanks. > > > > Would vapor steamers be effective (they reach temps up to 290 > degrees > > and are said to kill microbes, bacteria, germs, microorganisms, > > biofilms, viruses, mold, mildew, dust mites, etc...)
