Guest guest
Tommy & others, You might want to try this for those days when you sleep through your alarm... Spray the article of clothing that you want to microwave with 70% alcohol. Just enough to dampen it. ALSO lightly spray the inside of the ZipLoc baggie. Put item into baggie... and zip the baggie up ONLY 3/4 of the way, leaving an air vent. Microwave on high 20-30 sec. Stop the microwave then flip the baggie over... microwave for another 20-30 sec. Pull baggie out of microwave and zip it closed so that it forms a vacuum seal. Just for a few minutes...Then pull the article of clothing out and let it dry for a few secs... The alcohol will disipate and everything will dry. This doesn't leave the microwave smelling like alcohol, nor do your clothes smell as such... and it sure kills these buggers! This was our preffered method of mite killer for our clothing when we had our infestation. Worked like a charm... took time... but it worked.
