question about head circumference and growth

Hi everyone,

We just had a follow up visit with the craniofacial specialist

today. My daughter is 8 months old and has been wearing a DOC band

for about 6 weeks now. Her head circumference was the same as it was

3 weeks ago, and the specialist said if it is still the same at our

next appt (in 4 weeks) she will graduate. He explained that even

though her head circumference is not increasing, her head is still

growing in other areas. Therefore the band would not be effective

anymore. Has anyone else been in this situation? I felt I

understood him after the visit, but now I am wondering if I do.
