Guest guest
I totally agree. All fronts. The environment is just as important as your internal and external surface of your body!!!! After being there for about 10 days, all symptoms of his infestation stopped. He was still wearing the same clothes and had the same luggage the whole time. He was not eating anything spicy. The only thing that we can think of was he was taking an anti-malarial drug called Malarone. I was wondering if any of the more technical folks here could take a look at it and see why it (if it was what did help him) may have worked. It is suppose to be safe enough for children to take. And it's way expensive. His scrip for about 40 days worth was in the low $200's.I feel bad for him now, his house re-infested him after about 5 days of getting home.Moral of the story: you need to work on all fronts, all the time, when fighting these.bob
Guest guest
I took malarone before I had the mites. I got a 3 month prescription covered by my insurance company when I went to Africa. I didn't use it all and gave the rest of the pills away. I was so sick in Africa I took the "kill" dose at one point (I thought I had malaria but didn't) No side affects! -requireshelp From: fritolay66 <fritolay66@...>bird mites Sent: Sunday, December 28, 2008 9:56:08 PMSubject: Re: Malaria Drug that MAY, repeat MAY help I totally agree.
