Guest guest
My best friend, who was infected the same time as I was, went to Thailand for 6 weeks recently. After being there for about 10 days, all symptoms of his infestation stopped. He was still wearing the same clothes and had the same luggage the whole time. He was not eating anything spicy. The only thing that we can think of was he was taking an anti-malarial drug called Malarone. I was wondering if any of the more technical folks here could take a look at it and see why it (if it was what did help him) may have worked. It is suppose to be safe enough for children to take. And it's way expensive. His scrip for about 40 days worth was in the low $200's. I feel bad for him now, his house re-infested him after about 5 days of getting home. Moral of the story: you need to work on all fronts, all the time, when fighting these. bob
