Guest guest
Hi Bill, I'm going crazy too. Actually, suicidal might be the more appropriate term. I saw an environmental recipe at ESP that looks promising. I only know one person on this forum who's tried it though, so not sure about efficacy. Here's the link: http://www.espbotanicals.com/natural_organic_skin_care_products.html Scroll down about halfway and there are instructions on using the repellent spray. Looks like you make your own base of borax and baking powder, then add Trisha's essential oils. I found a cheap source of menthol crystals at Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem & ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSAA:US:11 & It\ em=190274921152 This particular vendor has the best shipping rates so it winds up being the cheapest source at Ebay. > > Powders clog and salts corrode metal. > > It isn't really the strength per se, it is the clumping of the crystals > > in powders that do not allow water past, and the corrosiveness of salt > > on metals.
