Guest guest
Kathy, I just check out the photos and first want to say that Jillian is adorable. She looks a lot like my at that age! I think she has a pretty nice looking head. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but are her ears out of alignment? Also I couldn't tell if there was any facial assymetry since there wasn't a front shot. You may get all the correction you need from aggressive repositioning. Of coures the band/helmet would lead to the same results if you have issues with the repositioning. would NOT allow to be repositioned. She was extremely mobile in her crib after just a few months of life! She also goes to daycare so we could not have monitored the repositioning while she was there. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do. Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
marci, thanks for responding. No, I dont see any facial assymetry and i dont think her ears are out of alignment. When you look from the top you can see that the back is wide. I want a specialist to look at her just so I know shes ok... I dont want to not go and then later wish I would have had her looked at. Just trying to do the best for her as I am sure you know.We have seen improvement in the past month from repositioning which consisted of putting her on her side to sleep with the use of a wedge. We alternate sides each night and at naptime. Periodically during the night I check on her and if she has moved to her back, I put her back on her side. We also try to keep her out of her bouncy chair which she loves. Now that she is wanting to hold her head up and TRY to sit up its a little easier. I ordered a exersaucer, so that will help also. As for my son, his ears are somewhat out of alignment and there is a little facial assymetry when compare his eyes. But I dont feel it is very severe. Besides I guess if we were all to measure ourselves were all alittle off, ya know . Thanks again.
