Guest guest
We just got back from Dane's casting. I think he will sleep the rest of the day. I have never seen him so tired. I didn't think I would have a problem with it since he had so many procedures done in the NICU (EEG, MRI, Upper GI, Barium Swallow and GI Probe, etc.). This was much more difficult for me to take I think because he is bigger now and resisting these types of things. There was a fmily waiting behind us. I was surprised Dane didn't scare them off. He was not pleased at all. At least now it's over and we are looking forward to getting the DOC Band next week. It's all for the better! Now if only we can get our 2 year old daughter to sleep, maybe we can NAP! She hates napping, so that is unlikely. Dane's mom
Guest guest
: Well the hard part is over! It is not fun watching your child soooo upset & scared. But they usually do recover quickly, I'm betting Dane has already forgotten all about it. He's on his way to a rounder head now. You're doing the right thing. I hope you got your 2 yr old to nap for you! Uggg, that's why I'm stopping with one kid! LOL. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > We just got back from Dane's casting. Guest guest
, Glad to hear the casting is over! Even though he didn't take it too well, at least it is behind you and you will have your band very soon. Let us know how the fitting goes. Guest guest
Sounds like your son handled the casting very well! I can't believe he fell asleep during it, what a trooper! I saw in a different post that you asked me about Personal Choice and that you have Anthem. I really don't know much about insurances at all, so in my limited knowledge all I can say is that Personal Choice is just a different type of coverage plan under Independence Blue Cross, its also a PPO, not an HMO, which really made the journey a lot easier. I really wish I had more to tell you, maybe those who are more literate in insurances will be able to clarify more. Niki Kaylie & Danny (STAR grads) Phila., PA > We just had our casting yesterday.
