I had no idea it was called the " STARband " until a few wks or so into her treatment. I thought it was a DOCband actually, then I thought it was a locally made band, until this group helped me figure it out. Noone at my local hospital told me it was called a STARband made by Orthomerica. You would have to go to a Cranial Technologies clinic to receive a DOCband. Check with your hospital Mon. morning. Also follow Kendra's advice regarding the questions to ask & such. Good luck - let us know what you find out.
