has an appointment to see Dr. Day next Thursday the 21st!

I'm so happy and relieved that we dont have to wait for months. I've already read good things about him here and cant wait to have evaluated by him.

It seems that doing x-rays 1st thing is SOP with Dr. Day, is that right?

What can I expect at this appointment? Will Dr. Day be able to say right away whether his plagio is mild, moderate, severe? Will he evaluate him for torticollis? Are we early enough in the game to possibly try another 4 weeks of repositioning maybe? We will do the band if he needs it...no question. But of course we would like to avoid it if possible. We have some really crappy insurance (Cigna HMO...everyone groan now LOL!) and will have a huge fight on our hands to get them to pay. They really ought to watch out for me....I'll fight like a tiger for this...they have NO IDEA!

Well, that is our great news. Just had to share!

Lee Ann,

Hooray!!! I'm so glad you got in to see Dr. Day especially since I just saw a

GREAT recommendation from someone in the group for him. That is great news!!

It's hard to say what exactly he will do at your first appoitment. Our

specialist took one look at (literally) and said she had plagio and

would need a helmet. He did send us for a 3D CT to rule out cranio, but he

felt quite certain that it was plagio. The CT confirmed that it was plagio.

Hopefully he will give you tons of information about plagio and evaluate for

tort.

Let us know how it goes - I'm sooo happy for you!!
