Plagio can be so very overwhelming to us parents. Should I get a

band, should I get a STAR, DOC or locally made? Will the head round

on it's own? It's very stressful on us parents. Go with your

motherly instinct - you know what's best for your child.

I feel I owe it to parents like you to share my Abby's story. If I

can help one parent out there with Abby's story, I couldn't be

happier. Just be sure you thoroughly interview the orthotist who

will be treating your Abby. The STARband can work so long as the

orthotist knows what he or she is doing. I don't want to see any

baby go thru what Abby went through - that's why I share our story.

Abby is at a great age to begin her band treatment. She'll be

hitting good growth spurts in the mos to come, so you should see good

& relatively faster correction than if you begin later.

Best of luck with the PT for her tort.. Also good luck with the

MRI. Be sure you let us know what the results are & when you go

ahead with the casting for the band.
