Well, it seems like a miracle and sign to me! God's way of saying - I'm going

to get your insurance company to pay now you do the rest!! I can understand

your uncertainty and confusion about should I keep it off, should I keep it

on. The truth is that it is not cruel to have him in the band 23 hours a day.

The faster you adapt to keeping it on 23 hours the sooner you will realize

that he really doesn't care if it is on! The sweating will decrease as his

body temperature adjusts and his sleeping will probably not be affected in

the least!! It will be hard for you to adjust for sure, but you will - in

time will strange to you without the helmet on!!

It sounds as if you know what you have to do now, so I'm betting with all this divine intervention steering the course, your going to get in gear now! I am not super religious myself, but I do believe God has helped us in so many ways too!

Time is fleeting so just think of every moment being a possible growth spurt. It's hard to balance the feelings of guilt that may be enhanced from family or friends making light of the situation, and then you do feel more guilt for them not wearing it because you hear that it really does work! What kept me going was knowing that the more he wears it, the sooner he'll be out of it. I would think that sleeping would be the most important time to wear it- so I would start there. Hang in there, it will all be over with before you know it! Good luck to you and please let us know how is doing!
