Insurance Authorization Update

Hi all,

I just want to thank you for being such a great support system during this

time. I called HealthNet (Mid-America Health now) and asked them about the

denial and got it worked out in about 30 seconds. It turns out that Hangar

PO is part of the network after all and she's going to resubmit it.

At first I was just so glad that I was cheerful, but the longer I think

about it the more angry I become. Do they just make this " mistake " and hope

that parents will just pay it without saying something?? If I hadn't

called, we would have mistakenly ended up paying $2200 out of our own pockets.

Whoever said insurance reform is needed is so right...

On a brighter note, we went to dinner with dh's family last night and they

were all telling us how much rounder his head looked. (He did his 1 hour

off at their house). I don't notice it so much since I'm around him all the

time, but now that I look, I do see a lot of improvement. :-)
